Salwar Kameez also known as ladies suit is the most common outfit worn in India mostly in the northern part of the country. It’s popular as it’s comfortable to wear as a daily casual outfit. Apart from this this can also be worn for weddings, functions and ceremonies. Available in various fabrics like georgette, chiffon, net, satin, cotton, silk etc gives you a variety to choose from.  Salwar Kameez has been transformed over many years into various styles, designs and cuts so even the name has seen lot of variation over the decades.
The salwar kameez has came up as an ultimate attire, being a viable outfit, catering to all tastes and needs, adaptable to all occasions, changeable according to weather conditions, fitting into every budget, enhancing  all figures. It is an outfit which stands out as the singular outfit acceptable to all social circles. The wearer can use it in any possible way she wants to -  as a comfy night suit or as an ultra formal bridal dress, whether a sober conventional respectful attire or a clingy eye-catching outfit to attract attention. This sheer flexibility of this dress has made it the current national favorite of all females from sixteen to sixty.
In earlier times it was a simple ethnic wear having a basic design available in different colors and few materials like cotton, silk etc. In early 80′s it got through a revolution and few designers modified it giving certain styles and designs to this traditional outfit. Since the date it has gone through continuous changes and is established today as a classy revolutionary outfit in India and overseas.

It is one of the most common trendy suits worn by young girls in north India on festivals and occasions.

It was used in for any important occasion as it is considered as a worthy fabric and in present time its available in different forms other than pure silk like Chiffon silk, dupian silk, satin silk, paper silk, crepe silk and tussar silk.
Bridal Salwar Kameez  The bridal salwar kameez is traditional attire worn by a bride on her wedding day or prior to the wedding day for different ceremonies. This  is normally made of heavy materials in pink or red color to suit the auspicious occasion as red color is considered the color of Suhaag in Indian tradition. Along with this the dress is heavily done up with hand embroidered work in stones, diamantes, dubka, zari and other embellishments.

Every type of salwar kameez is openly accepted and worn by women of all ages. With different types of Indian and global dresses in the market Salwar kameez is still a “Hot Couture” for every celebration.
